Is two months too late

Every night I get ready for bed, I feel guilty for not updating this blog, especially after hearing from so many family and friends how much they look forward to updates. So much has happened in Owen's first 2 months, and I've been a bit overwhelmed with it. I keep hoping to find some time to put down all the thoughts that I've wanted to blog about, but I should've had a more realistic expectation of how time consuming fatherhood is. I guess this is one of my fatherhood discoveries. Everything you do is for the benefit of your child.

The first few weeks when Owen was home with us and received many visitors, we were trying to make the best environment for Owen and keep him happy. After the introductions to friends and family passed, I took on full time gig. I've been working long hard hours and I know I'm to tired at night when I get home to blog anything coherent.

I know this blog is not only important for me, but I hope my son Owen will appreciate it some day. For me it would be nice to have a diary from my parents of their parenthood experiences to use as a guide of what to expect. Seeing so much of myself in Owen, I think we were probably pretty similar babies. That being said, I will make it a priority to bring you all up to speed. Below are the topics I will be blogging about in the future.

· Coming Home
· Introductions
· BRIS
· 2 Week Growth Spurt
· How about a SMILE
· First Real bath
· Mimi's Visit
· Frustration
